General Information

The Flying facility is located on an area leased from Whiteman Park and we are bound by all regulations pertaining to Whiteman Park entry. The flying field is closed by the Whiteman Park management on days when the Fire Danger Index (FDI) for the Lower West, Metro Coastal Plain equals or exceeds 40, this happens often in summer. Do check the Fire Danger Index before setting out to avoid a wasted journey.
