Model Aircraft State Centre at Whiteman Park, Western Australia

The Model Aircraft State Centre is a purpose-built facility to suit most forms of aeromodelling.

The control line area features a concrete circle suitable for team racing, a grass circle for general and stunt flying on up to 70 foot lines, and a pit area.

The helicopter training area consists of approximately 3000 square metres of lawn.

The fixed wing area features three bitumen runways surrounded by lawn. The runways are positioned to take into account the most common wind directions. The East-West runway is 140 metres in length, the North East-South West runway is 130 metres, and the North West-South East runway is 80 metres. All are 9 metres wide.

The helicopter and fixed wing modellers share the covered pit area and transmitter compound.

The rest of the facility comprises sufficient parking area for up to 250 vehicles, a shaded spectator area with kids cubby house, a club house with canteen and toilet, and a toilet block for use during major events.
